Floor‑to‑Floor Expansion Joint Cover with Stainless Steel Deck

The XLLS Seismic Series expansion joint covers are designed so that the cover plates and surrounding floor finish are flush. The series is designed to accommodate normal thermal movement of the day-to-day requirements of the structure while accommodating extreme multidirectional movement during seismic events. Latham strongly recommend systems of this size have the cover plates treated with a slip resistant coating for better pedestrian safety. The XLLS series are suitable for installation with tile, carpet, timber, vinyl and other flooring finishes.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy.

• 304 Grade 2B finish stainless steel cover plates.

• Spring steel treated centring bar with nylon spherical ball at ~475mm centres.

• Supplied in 3050mm lengths.

Fixings

• Side member factory drilled to accept countersunk head 10mm fixings at ~350mm centres.

• Side screw holes factory drilled for 10mm non-countersunk fixings.

• Wall member factory drilled to accept 6.5mm countersunk head fixings at ~475mm centres.
