Floor‑to‑Floor Expansion Joint Cover with Stainless Steel Deck

The EXSLSM Seismic Series floor-to-wall expansion joint covers are surface-mounted expansion joint covers designed to accommodate normal thermal movement of the day-to-day requirements of the structure while accommodating extreme multidirectional movement during seismic events. Latham strongly recommends systems of this size have the cover plates treated with a slip-resistant coating for better pedestrian safety.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy.

• 304 Grade 2B finish stainless steel cover plates.

• Spring steel treated centring bar with cylindrical pins at ~475mm centres.

• Supplied in 3050mm lengths.

Fixings

• Side member factory drilled to accept 8mm countersunk head fixings at ~250mm centres.

• Wall member factory drilled to accept 6.5mm countersunk head fixings at ~475mm centres.
