No Bump Floor‑to‑Wall Expansion Joint Cover with Stainless Steel Deck

The NBFXSL Series no-bump, floor‑to‑wall expansion joint covers are designed for applications where a very smooth transition is demanded such as acute hospital wards. The surface mounted design means it can be installed without a recess or topping and can be installed directly in the joint without the need for cutouts when the joint width is 57mm or wider. They are a robust system that carries a stainless steel cover plate and typically are installed with timber, tile, vinyl and direct-stick carpet applications.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy.

• 304 Grade 2B finish stainless steel cover plate.

• Supplied in 3050mm lengths.

• Spring steel treated centring bar with cylindrical pins at ~475mm centres to facilitate multidirectional movement.

Fixings

• Side member and wall member factory drilled to accept 6.5mm countersunk head fixings at ~475mm centres.

• We recommend Latham Thixotropic Epoxy Adhesive be used in conjunction for superior securing.
