Floor‑to‑Floor Expansion Joint Cover with Carpet Inlay

The SCA Carpet-Line Series floor‑to‑floor expansion joint covers are designed to be installed in carpet applications with a recess in the top of the cover plate to accommodate a direct stick carpet tile to a thickness of 6mm, offering a minimising effect when viewing the expansion joint cover. This system is installed with CA-16 block out anchors or cast into topping or a slab, using CA-6 anchors. They would commonly be used in locations such as shopping centres, hotels, office foyers, schools, airports and other pedestrian traffic situations.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy.

• Supplied in 3050mm lengths.

• Spring steel treated centring bar with nylon spherical balls at ~475mm centres.

Fixings

• Supplied with clip-on CA-16 Block-Out Anchors with factory drilled 10mm holes installed at maximum ~500mm centres.

• On request: CA-6 Cast-In Anchors can be supplied for cast-in installations.
