RTJ-1 Waterproof Floor Expansion Joint Cover 

The RTJ-1 Waterproof Aluminium Car joint cover is designed for car parks, driveways and roofs. The standard system is supplied with 6mm thick aluminium cover plates. Also available are custom-modified systems with 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm or 15mm structural steel cover plates for heavier applications, including delivery bays, refuse vehicle areas and other applications. The con-proof elastomeric barrier is easily site-applied resulting in a waterproof system offering +/-25mm movement, while fully protected by the plate. The ultimate waterproof solution.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy. Other materials available on request for heavier loads.

• Supplied in 2400mm lengths.  

Fixings

• Pre-drilled at ~350mm centres for M12 fixings.

• One side is pre-drilled with slots to allow movement beneath the bolt heads.

• The system will be supplied with specialised custom fixings, including M12 drop-in anchors and fixing bolt, steel and and nylon washer to facilitate movement.
