Floor-to-Floor Expansion Joint Cover with Stainless Steel Deck

The NSS Ultimate Series robust floor-to-floor expansion joint covers carry a stainless steel cover plate. The series is designed so that the side members are fixed directly to the underlying floor, for installing with a 25mm deep floor finish and no recess is required. It is intended predominantly for pedestrian applications. These joints can be used in conjunction with many floor finishes such as concrete toppings, terrazzo, tile, timber, carpet, vinyl, epoxy finishes etc. They would commonly be used in locations such as shopping centres, hotels, office foyers, schools, airports and other pedestrian traffic situations.

Materials

• Aluminium 6063-T5 mill finish alloy.
• 304 Grade 2B finish stainless steel cover plates.
• Supplied in 3050mm lengths.
• Spring steel treated centring bar with nylon spherical balls at ~475mm centres.

Fixings

• Side members factory drilled to accept 8mm countersunk head fixings at ~475mm centres.
