We're a workshop, not a shop

Latham Australia design and manufacture the highest quality flooring and safety enhancement products. More than 90% of our sales are custom made to order, from our extensive range of styles, using the experience of over 70 years in the business.

We do hold a number of items in stock that customers can buy, ready to go, but the fact is, we’re not a shop. We’re a WORKSHOP. We build craftsmanship and experience into every product we make.

Why does this matter? Because we make to every customer’s exact requirements, every time, our customers know that they will get just what they need. And if it’s not an existing model, we will work on a design with them and make a new variety. Our customers trust Latham’s experience and engineering quality to meet the building standards and performance expectations that they must follow. They know that Latham products will work as expected, for years and years, without failing. 

The architects and designers who specify Latham by name know these facts and know that our products will deliver, so that their buildings will function just as they intended. They have seen the development of new and varied designs of Latham products over the years and they trust the Latham name to get the job done. When they specify our products by name, they mean it. They want them to come from our factory into the building and perform.

This does not happen by accident. It takes planning and experience, but most of all, it requires solid understanding of our production methods, too. We can also produce large quantities of product, quickly and without any fuss, always to our high quality standards.
