Why does Latham not offer a PAVA-Inlay Joint with Silicon inserts as a standard, when you carry such a vast array of these joints?
For many years Latham's have been requested to supply inlay joints that have silicon inserts. In our opinion these fail and we have never seen a profile with silicon installed that has lasted when movement has occurred; they de-bond, drop away and unless they are perfectly flat, become very dirty. The silicon also tends to be very difficult to install - see attached information.  For these reasons Latham offer the far superior SGAL, ASMP, BSMP, SGALL, ASMPL and BSMPL series inlay expansion joint covers.
