Dividing Strips

Dividing Strips in brass, zinc and rebonite are manufactured in standard 1800mm lengths. The thickness of the standard range of products has been carefully engineered to maintain even wear with that of the surface of the pavement. The bottom of the Loc Strip forms a knife edge and is designed to create a weakness point in the under-bedding under the division strip and to accommodate shrinkage.

For many years rebonite strips have proven their value as dividing strips in terrazzo and exposed aggregate paving. The proven success of this material in government institutions, large hospitals, city office buildings, department stores and shopping complexes speaks for itself.

Rebonite Dividing Strips
Latham Rebonite Dividing Strips are designed and prepared ready for laying and are available in L-Section and in special Deep Taper Loc® Section which is recommended for all applications where there is a sand/cement underbed; the taper forms a weakness in the bed under the strip.

The wearing quality of rebonite is comparable with that of the average terrazzo paving and with the application of heat, rebonite dividing strips may be bent to any required form. They are non-static and can be used in resinous type, thin terrazzo industrial paving.

Zinc and Brass Dividing Strips
Latham Dividing Strips in zinc and brass are manufactured from specially rolled 1mm hard zinc and brass sheet cut to width. Rolled flat for rigidity and punched with bedding lugs and flow holes for positive anchorage.
